Summer [:

Summer is right around the corner! Since school is out there are many activities to do. One activity most teenagers do during the summer is go to the beach. You can play sports, hang out with friends, and tan all day. Other things to do in the summer is get a job. Most teens don"t to waste their summer working, while others enjoy the extra money to spend it on things they want. One of the most spots to work during the summer is Darien Lake. What activities to you like to do in the summer?

Battle of the Classes

Battle of the classes is an event during the school year where each class competes against others classes. It's a fun filled day and really shows how much spirit we have in school. Even the teachers get really involved. Each class has their own color and compete in different games like the hulla hoop and the tug of war. Athough, the battle of the classes is fun, what i think could be changed about it is having a whole day of different activites instead of just having them during advisment. It's only one day a year and one day of not having classes wouldnt be so bad.

School dress code

Over the past several years the dress code in our school has become stricter and stricter. Although, certain clothing items people may wear can be inappropriate, but when students get in trouble for a hole in there jeans on there knee or just even a little tear, its unfair. Were supposed to feel comfortable in the clothes we wear to school, not feel like every morning we have to make sure we are dressed so that we cant get in trouble by a teacher. I can understand if you have a hole in a pair of jeans thats in spot thats not appropriate for school, then that person should get in trouble, but when its below the knee or somewhere it looks presentable for school, it should be allowed.
